After months of delay, our long-awaited company trip to Amsterdam finally took place from 17-19 March 2023. Our excitement was palpable as we finally got the chance to visit our colleague, Chantal, in Amsterdam and to explore this vibrant city together.

The trip had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent travel chaos, and we were overjoyed to finally have the opportunity to make up for lost time. Amsterdam is known for its picturesque canals, historic architecture, and vibrant nightlife, making it the perfect destination for a team-building event.

One of the highlights of our trip was trying out the swings at Adam Lookout. These swings are a unique and exhilarating experience that should be on every thrill-seeker’s bucket list. The attraction, called “Over the Edge,” consists of two swings that are suspended 100 meters above the ground, giving riders a breathtaking view of the city below.

As you sit in the swing, your legs dangling above the void, you are strapped in by a harness and lifted up, slowly at first, until you reach the maximum height. Then, with a sudden drop, the swing is released, and you fly out over the edge, experiencing a rush of adrenaline as you soar through the air.

The swings are not for the faint of heart, but for those who are brave enough to try them, the experience is unforgettable. The panoramic views of Amsterdam from above are simply stunning, with a bird’s-eye view of the city’s famous canals, historic buildings, and vibrant neighborhoods.

Our itinerary included a mix of team-building activities and cultural experiences, which allowed us to bond as a team and appreciate Amsterdam’s unique character.
